Second place in the type of University of Social Sciences and Life Sciences and 8th place in the overall standings is the result of our team on the fianals Polish Academic Championships in futsal men, which on 23-26.03.2022 was held in Krakow.
After a great start and wins 7:2 with AWF Krakow and WSB Dabrowa Gornicza 8:4 and minimal defeat 1:2 with last year's champion WSG Bydgoszcz to the best eight team advanced from second place in the group. Unfortunately, in the quarterfinals we had to acknowledge the superiority of the University of Warsaw, losing after a tight match 0:2. Very close were the places 5-6, but the meeting with PWSZ Tarnów ended in a draw 2:2, and the victory of the Tarnów team was decided by a better penalty shootout. Ultimately, we finished the championship in 8th place, for the second year in a row being in the best eight of academic teams in Poland. Bravo team!
