The Higher School of Agriculture, which was founded in 1951, and the Physical Education Department made it possible to establish the University Sports Association (AZS), which was registered at our University.
In close cooperation with the P.E. (Physical Education) Department the activity in large variety of sport started, which lasts until today!
The main activity of the University Sports Association Club is to conduct additional sports activities for students of Wroclaw University of Life Sciences. The club enables students to compete in the Lower Silesian Univeristy League and the University Championships of Poland. Students of the University are also able to compete and take part in the European and World University Championships and the European Student Games.
The Board of the University Sports Association (AZS) of the University of Life Sciences is also involved in the organization of sporting events at the university. Every year, we organize a series of sport events for the students of UPWR, such as Futsal League, University Volleyball League, Santa Claus tournaments and volleyball night tournaments. Since the beginning of its activity, AZS UPWr has also organized over 50 University Championships of Poland events.
